2016 has already proven to be an exciting year for Democrats, with South Carolina Democrats being a vital part of that excitement in our First in the South Democratic Presidential Primary. York County Democrats played a huge role in the run up to that primary, having Rock Hill selected as the host city of the SCDP and MSNBC First in the South Democratic Presidential Candidate Forum last November. The York County Democratic Party and your dedicated Democratic activists were significant factors in the decision to have the national spotlight here that first weekend in November. We had the three Democratic Presidential candidates, major media from across the globe, and — most importantly — proud Democrats from across the region and, indeed, the country come to Rock Hill for a tremendously successful weekend. It included trainings, town hall events, and the regional meeting of the National Federation of Democratic Women.
Your Executive Board and the army of dedicated, enthusiastic and hardworking activists are recognized across the state. We are one of a very few county parties – Democratic or Republican – that maintains a year round headquarters. As a party we are engaged in voter registration, community outreach, political action, and community service each and every day. We thank you for your support to make this all possible.
We couldn’t do this without generous financial support. I thank our donors for their support in the past. I ask you to please consider supporting us this year. Your support as Democrats at the county level is vital in keeping a strong, vibrant, vocal and active team of Democrats. Your support is the backbone of our Democratic Party. Your contribution at the county level stays right here, on the ground, making a real difference in the communities in which we live.

Very Truly Yours–
