Republicans – Wrong for South Carolina

South Carolina Governor Niki Haley’s Transportation Secretary said on July 21, 2016 that the funding provided for by the Republican controlled legislature this year will serve to essentially maintain the current poor road conditions.  Not improve, replace, or repair.  Maintain the current poor conditions.  This seems to be the philosophy of the Republican leadership in South Carolina, maintain the current poor conditions.  Poor conditions of our roads, bridges and infrastructure, poor conditions of our public schools, poor conditions of our social service agencies, poor conditions of our justice system, poor conditions of our health and environmental department, poor conditions of our almost non existent public transportation system, and the poor conditions of our state government to react until there is...

Hillary Clinton – The right choice for America

Every four years around this time we hear how “this presidential election is the most important one ever”.  Certainly every presidential election is important.  I would argue that every election is important and the so called off year elections are much more important than presidential elections.  However, I do believe that the 2016 presidential election is the most consequential of my lifetime.
