Our goal is to elect Democratic candidates in York County, the State of South Carolina, and the United States. To do that, we want to make it easy for you to vote. And to want to vote.

As elections approach, we will show you how to register to vote, review the documentation you need in order to vote, provide details on early voting, both by mail and in person, and detail election day polling places.

We will introduce you to candidates, here on the web site, and in our YouTube shows and podcasts.

And to make it more fun, we’ll list the activities you can participate in here in York County and around the area where you can meet other Democrats and progressive-minded people. We sponsor some, and our members and affiliated groups sponsor others. We also have a Facebook Group where you can participate directly, meet people and learn more about what’s going on.

Finally, yes, we’re going to ask you for money 💰. It takes a little money to keep the wheels turning in the county party. We have a couple of fundraising options. Give what you can afford to give. If you can’t make a financial contribution, that’s OK. Your participation is worth a lot.

You may have noticed that we haven’t discussed issues or platforms. We leave that up to our elected officials and candidates. But you’ll probably hear some of that on our YouTube shows and podcasts (when we make some)
