Meetings with Candidates are more frequent just prior to an election, and less frequent between election cycles. In either case, dates, and times for these these meetings are communicated to all of those people that have registered for the newsletter.
During these meetings, the candidates discuss issues, and their approach to addressing these issues. In addition, the candidates ask attendees for feedback on how they are representing the constituents, and what new issues need to be addressed. It is through this type of meeting that the elected officials and candidates stay up to date on issues that concern their constituents. These meetings offer you, the voter, a chance to have your voice heard, and to speak directly to those that have been elected or are running for election, and are responsible for addressing them.
